We think creating artwork is great fun and hope that you enjoy the design process as much as we do. The key to creating great artwork is a good level of communication between you and us so we routinely keep you posted with how we’re getting on by email and we welcome any comments, questions or suggestions you have throughout the design process.
To make things easy our design process is broken down into just 3 steps

Preliminary Design Stage: This is where we have a chat about what your needs are and explore any ideas you might have relating to your artwork. If you’ve seen something that inspires you, such as a poster or logo, and want to show us as an example of what you’re after this preliminary design stage is the perfect opportunity.

Secondary Design Stage: Based on all the information provided during the preliminary design stage we’ll then begin working on your artwork. This stage often involves continued communication
between you and us as we show you what we’re working on and gain feedback so we can refine our efforts to produce exactly what you’re after.

Final Design & Finishing Stage: Once we’re happy with the work we’ve done we’ll send you an electronic copy for your approval. If you find something you’d like to change, perhaps a font colour or size for example, we’ll make those changes which we call ‘revisions’. Providing you don’t require any drastic changes to your artwork revisions don’t typically take very long and you can request as many as you like until you’re one hundred percent happy with your artwork. Most of the formats we design include an hour’s worth of free revisions as standard.

Once you approve the final design we then prepare your artwork for print (or internet where applicable). All artwork for print is provided in CMYK colour and provided in the form of an Adobe Print-Ready PDF which is the most common file type used by professional printers. However, if you require a different file format do be sure to let us know as soon as possible.
Finally, your finished artwork will be sent to you electronically and also to our selected printing company if you choose the design and print option, though if your artwork files are particularly large we may provide them on disc instead.
