Design OnlyThe Design Only option is ideal if you'd prefer to shop around for a good printing deal and simply need graphic artwork. Many printers offer special discounts or promotions and being able to choose your own can give you a lot more flexibility depending on your requirements. If you do opt for 'Design Only' be sure to find out the exact size of the artwork the printers require and what file format the artwork needs to be saved in before the preliminary design stage begins.
How long will it take?
As each piece of artwork is different, the time it takes to complete a project can vary considerably. The typical time to completion is around two to four weeks if you choose 'Design Only', however, if you choose "Design & Print' please allow an additional two weeks once your artwork is complete for it to be printed. Please note that these are estimations only.
If you opt to use your own chosen printer it's a good idea to check how long it will take them to print your work to ensure you have your printed media on time.
Need it in a hurry?
In some cases it may be possible to speed up the design process for an additional fee. If you choose 'Design & Print' it is possible to half the printing time for an additional printers fee.
How to pay
During your initial consultation you will be given an estimation of price for the design of your artwork. 25% of the quotation is payable up front, before the design process begins and then the remaining balance, together with any additional charges (if you incur any) is payable once you've approved the finished design and received your personal invoice. If you choose a Design & Print option, payment must still be made once the finished design is approved before printing can go ahead.
You will be provided with an itemised invoice containing details of any additional charges you incur at the end of the design process and you have up to 30 days to make your payment.
Details of additional charges can be found in the design agreement and you will always be notified before you incur any.
